There are a host of bespoke advantages associated with resin bonding. Perhaps the most important is that our expert team is able to apply resin bound gravel directly over existing concrete. This eliminates the need for a lengthy removal process; saving our client’s time and money.
Driveways that are made from resin bond/ resin bound are pleasing to the eye. They can withstand the use of heavy vehicles on a regular basis.
To create the perfect resin bound driveway, we need to blend granite and quartz together along with a UV resin. This is then poured and levelled out onto your driveway. The pattern of your choice is then applied to the surface.
It is first important to mention that resin bonding is a permeable substance. In other words, it will enable water to drain from the driveway without pooling. This eliminates inconvenient puddles while simultaneously extending the lifespan of the driveway itself.
Secondly, any resin-bonded aggregate is essentially a conglomeration of small stones. Once you have decided that you would like a resin driveway, we will give you the option to choose from a variety of textures, sizes and colours. This allows you to match the existing decor of your property; an option not offered by some types of traditional paving.
The weather must be taken into account. Driveways have always been susceptible to changes in temperature and humidity. Resin-bonded aggregates are able to effectively eliminate such concerns. These materials will not become soft in the summer nor will they lose their initial colour due to exposure to the ultraviolet rays of the sun.
Finally, resin-bound/resin-bond materials will require only a minimal amount of maintenance. As this is a single coating, the presence of weeds and cracks is eliminated. This saves aggravation and aside from an occasional high-pressure wash, the coating essentially cares for itself.
