The Initial Evaluation

In this case, it was quickly determined that the existing fence had become damaged due to constant exposure to the elements. Furthermore, there was a fair amount of space between the vertical slats (this can sometimes represent a privacy concern). We ultimately decided that an improvement was in order.
A Much-Needed Upgrade
After removing the old structure, we chose to install a post-and-gravel configuration. This type of fencing is associated with a series of cement posts that hold vertical wooden slats firmly in place. Not only does such a style boast a much more streamlined aesthetic appeal, but it ensures a higher degree of privacy. Note that the cement posts and foundations likewise offer superior levels of structural integrity. In other words, the fencing will be able to withstand the elements much better than other configurations such as traditional stockade.
