This was quite a big project for us to take on, but we love transforming our clients properties in Chorley. Not only do they look amazing once we have finished but having a new driveway can add value to their homes.
So we could lay the new block paving, we had to dig up and remove the old concrete driveway that was there before. All the waste and debris was taken away in one of our trucks. The block paving that was used was a light grey edging and a charcoal insert done in a 45° pattern.
As you can see our team had to build concrete footings so that we could build two returning walls. We also added five steps that led down towards the house as the driveway was on a very steep slope. We installed a new drainage system just by the front door. Any rain water would flow into this ensuring the driveway would never flood.
We were asked to build a new porch. Once this was built, a new PVC double glazed door was installed along with some new PVC double glazed windows.
To finish, we installed new fencing to the front of the property which added extra security and protection to our clients home.
