For this block paving project in Lancashire, we had to removed an old concrete patio that was broken and worn. This was dug up using a mini digger. All the concrete and debris was removed leaving us with a blank canvas to play with.
Our customers liked the idea of having a new patio using block paving. They chose to have light grey blocks with a charcoal coloured edging.
The edging was laid around the edge of the garden. We then laid another layer of bricks around this using the light grey blocks. The same thing was done again using the charcoal coloured blocks. Then in the middle of this, the rest of the light grey blocks were laid using a stretchy bomb pattern.
To make it easier to enter the house, we built two new steps using the same coloured blocks as the patio.
As you can see by the images, our customers were left with an amazing patio that would be easy to maintain. We received a 5 star rating on Trust A Trade for this project.
